This month was very exciting. After weeks of feeling the baby move around my belly Jimmy finally felt the baby kick. We were at church on Christmas Eve with Jimmy's family listening to the homily when the baby really started to kick. I was so happy for Jimmy to finally be able to share in the special experience.
Going to Minnesota for the holidays was especially memorable this year even though I wasn't able to par-take in the pond hockey because our family threw us a baby shower. Most of Jimmy's aunts and cousins committed the afternoon to sharing in our joy. It was great to catch up with them and we received a number of memorable gifts. We know these will get plenty of use when the baby arrives.
