Cravings

Everyone knows the stereotypical pregnant woman who craves pickles and ice cream. Well I have always enjoyed my fair share of ice cream, but have never been a huge dessert fan. I could easily pass up cake and since I was a kid I have always requested ice cream cake over traditional cake for my birthday. In our house Jimmy has always had the bigger sweet tooth and been given the nickname "Cookie Monster." I became a pretty good contender once I transitioned into the second trimester. There were quite a few weekends in a row where you could find me in the kitchen baking cookies. I think Jimmy didn't believe that I could really make cookies! Yes, he was the cookie baker and has been since he was little. He even knows the recipes for chocolate chip cookies by heart! So yes, my pregnancy has brought about the sweet tooth in me. So much so that I keep a frozen Pepperidge Farm chocolate cake in Gabby's freezer just in case a craving is triggered while I am hanging out at her house!!
