A few weeks ago we lost Great Grandma Grant. We were all saddened by the news, but we're also thankful for the wonderful memories we share of her. She was among the first visitors in Adelyn's young life and she spent many hours rocking her in our big rocking chair. Grandma loved to ask about Adelyn's many adventures and Grandpa Grant regularly showed her this blog. We truly miss her.We were fortunate to be able to step away from our lives and travel to Minnesota for the funeral. It was great to spend some quality time with our family. Adelyn especially enjoyed the experience. Her cousin Sophie is only a couple months younger than Addy so she made the perfect playmate.

Drove the golf cart!
And went on a boat ride!
For an added bonus Addy and Sophie got to play with their cousin Krey. He's just a couple months older than Addy.
A highlight of Jimmy's weekend was watching Addy play with his cabbage patch kid Cass Guy. Cass Guy shows the signs of many years of love from his Dad!
