Amelia Ruth arrives!

Amelia Ruth arrived on Tuesday November 30th at 8:06 am. She weighed 7 lbs 15 oz. Before heading into the hospital to deliver, Jimmy and I both looked at each other and said that we thought we were going to have a girl. It was difficult at times not knowing the sex of the baby, but it was definitely worth the wait and such a wonderful surprise.
Adelyn was very excited to meet her new baby sister. She loves calling her baby and is really gentle and kind to her. I couldn't be any happier to have two wonderful little girls especially when I have one in each arm!
Amelia and Adelyn look a lot alike. Amelia has a lot more hair and her hair is darker. They both have long eye lashes and the same cute little lips and cheeks. Amelia's eyes were a dark blue color, but they seem to be changing to brown possibly.


While Jimmy, Amelia, and I were recuperating at the hospital Grandma and Grandpa were at home busy with Adelyn. Adelyn and Grandma had such a fun time making sour cream Christmas tree cookies.

The night we took Amelia home it was snowing pretty hard and the roads were not in the best condition. Luckily we only live a few miles from the hospital. Adelyn was so cute when we entered the house with Amelia she kept repeating baby and quiet!
