Lots of snow and spring rain this year have contributed to a beautiful wildflower season in the mountains. Yesterday we took a hike in the north hills of Missoula and found that most of the hill was covered in arrow leave balsam root and lupine. We let Addy hike up the hill a little ways. These were her words, "Mom, flowers everywhere, so beautiful. I love the garden. Addy smell the flowers! Amazing!" She was so excited and amazed and kept walking to bunches of flowers to look at and smell. The hike was a bit steep so we eventually had to convince her to get in the backpack, but it was sure cute watching her and hearing her say, "I hike Dada!"
