First Hike

This morning we decided to change our normal walking routine. So we headed to the Rattlesnake Wilderness Recreational Area which is located in Northeast Missoula. There are many trails to take in this vast recreational area but we chose to bring the baby jogger and hike up the double wide trail.

It was a gorgeous day for a hike. The trailhead was packed with families, mountain bikers, horseback riders, and hikers with their dogs. Once we made it about half a mile past the main trailhead the people were dispersed and the peacefulness of the forest began to set in. The grass and hills were bright green, the river was raging with water, and the sky was mixed with clouds and blue sky. Addy enjoyed the ride--she slept the entire time!
