There couldn't have been a better place to take Adelyn on her first camping trip-Grand Teton-our beloved place. She loved sleeping in the tent and playing around our campsite. Besides running all over the place, organizing rocks and twigs kept her occupied for quiet some time!

Catching the sunrise over Jenny Lake was a great way to start the morning. The reflection was just beautiful. Yes we are wearing sweatshirts and fleece jackets and boy did the cool morning air feel wonderful!

We took a hike around Jenny Lake and up to Hidden Falls. It was just as spectacular as always.

Saturday afternoon we took a bike ride on the new bike trail that runs through the southern part of the park. What a beautiful trail. It was so nice to see so many people and families out using it. Camping at Jenny lake was excellent as we were able to hike and bike right from our camp site.

Adelyn's first trip to the Tetons would not be complete without a visit to Jimmy's old stomping ground-Menor's Ferry.

Our last stop was to the Laurance S. Rockefeller Preserve. This preserve was just amazing, we wish we had more time to explore the new area. It is a place of tranquility, that aims to connect people both spiritually and emotionally to the teton area. Even though we spent less than an hour there it sure moved us.
"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves." John Muir
