Today was a day of firsts and not only for Adelyn. We started off the afternoon with a nice hike up The M. One of the greatest things about hiking this trail is that the trailhead is right on the edge of The UM campus. The M trail is the most used trail in all of Montana. It was the first day of summer for local school children and it was great to see many of them being active and scurrying up the trail with us. It was very satisfying when Adelyn, Danielle, and Cooper made it to up The M for the first time. The view of the lush valley and surrounding wilderness areas was just beautiful.
Later in the afternoon we headed to the local hot spot on Friday afternoons in Missoula, The Kettlehouse Brewery. Remarkably Adelyn was not the youngest patron at the brewery.
